Ecommerce website development in Lille
Ecommerce development in Lille frequently involves returns arriving from several countries at once. Sitting between France, Belgium and the Netherlands makes a consolidated returns operation practical, and it makes getting the paperwork right unavoidable. We build Shopify and WooCommerce stores for Lille businesses remotely, and we hold no Lille office.
What is ecommerce in Lille actually like?
A returns hub serving several countries has to keep track of where each item came from, not just what it is. The rate charged originally has to be the rate reversed, the return leg has to be priced per origin country because the freight differs, and goods coming back across a customs border need paperwork that goods moving within the single market do not. Consolidating the physical operation is the easy part. Keeping the financial and documentary trail per order is what separates a returns hub from a warehouse full of unmatched parcels.

What we build for Lille businesses
We build four things, and all four are delivered the same way wherever the client is: Shopify stores, WooCommerce stores, the interface design that decides whether either converts, and the automation that removes manual work from running them.
Shopify Development
Shopify development is the work of building a store on Shopify that does what your business needs rather than what a theme allows.
What we buildWooCommerce Development
WooCommerce development is the work of building a store on WordPress and WooCommerce, where you host the software and own the database outright.
What we buildUI/UX Design
Ecommerce UI/UX design is the work of deciding how a store looks and how customers move through it, from landing page to completed order.
What we buildAI Automation
AI automation for ecommerce means using language models and workflow tools to remove repetitive work from running a store.

What does each service run into in Lille?
Four pages, one per service, each about a different problem that Lille businesses actually bring us rather than a restatement of this one.

How does remote delivery work for a Lille business?
We have no office in Lille and no plans to open one. Work is delivered from our studio in Rajkot, through a shared board you can open at any time rather than a weekly status call. Everything agreed is written down the same day, because a decision nobody can find later is the same as one nobody made.
VAT here
French VAT applies nationally, and where returns arrive from customers in several countries the credit note has to reverse the rate that was originally charged rather than the domestic one, which is a detail flat-rate refund handling gets wrong.
Where your obligations actually begin is a question for a tax adviser. We build the store to collect correctly against whatever answer you get.

Which Lille sectors do we build for?
The Lille economy produces most of the businesses below, and their requirements we have met before. A sector missing from this list is a scoping conversation, not a refusal.

Lille questions we are asked
Five questions specific to working with us from Lille, including the one every remote agency should answer first and most do not: whether we are actually there.
Do you have an office in Lille?
No. We work from Rajkot, India, and Lille clients are served remotely. There is no French address behind this page. Work runs on a shared board where every decision is written down the day it is made, which is what makes a distant supplier practical rather than merely possible.
Why does the original rate matter on a refund?
Because reversing a different rate from the one charged leaves a difference that accumulates quietly across thousands of orders. A store refunding at a domestic default when the sale carried another country rate produces books that do not reconcile and a correction nobody enjoys making.
Should return freight be free?
That is a commercial decision and it costs more from some countries than others. Offering it uniformly means the nearest customers subsidise the furthest. Many merchants price it per origin or set a threshold, and either is more sustainable than a single free promise made without measuring the lanes.
Can one hub serve several countries?
Physically yes, and it usually pays. What it does not do is make the countries identical: the freight, the documentation and the rate all still follow the origin. The saving is in the handling and the restocking, not in pretending the differences went away.
How fast should a return be back on sale?
At scan, wherever the goods allow it. Every day an item sits unprocessed is a day it could not be sold, and in fashion that can span the life of a line. Consolidation helps here, because one team doing it consistently beats three doing it differently.
