Ecommerce website development in Raleigh

Ecommerce development in Raleigh often involves stock with an expiry date. Laboratory reagents and consumables are sold by lot, and shipping the wrong lot is worse than shipping nothing. We build Shopify and WooCommerce stores for Raleigh businesses remotely, and we hold no Raleigh office.

What is ecommerce in Raleigh actually like?

Laboratory consumables are not interchangeable units of the same product. Each lot has its own expiry and its own certificate of analysis, and a buyer running a protocol may need a specific lot or a guaranteed minimum shelf life on arrival. That means allocating by first-expiry-first-out rather than by whatever is nearest the door, publishing remaining shelf life before purchase, and attaching the right certificate to the right shipment. A store that treats stock as a single number cannot do any of it.

What that changes about the build

  1. Lot-level stock with expiry dating, allocated first-expiry-first-out rather than nearest-to-hand

  2. Certificates of analysis matched to the lot that actually shipped

What we build for Raleigh businesses

We build four things, and all four are delivered the same way wherever the client is: Shopify stores, WooCommerce stores, the interface design that decides whether either converts, and the automation that removes manual work from running them.

  • Shopify Development

Shopify development is the work of building a store on Shopify that does what your business needs rather than what a theme allows.

    What we build
  • WooCommerce Development

WooCommerce development is the work of building a store on WordPress and WooCommerce, where you host the software and own the database outright.

    What we build
  • UI/UX Design

Ecommerce UI/UX design is the work of deciding how a store looks and how customers move through it, from landing page to completed order.

    What we build
  • AI Automation

AI automation for ecommerce means using language models and workflow tools to remove repetitive work from running a store.

    What we build

What does each service run into in Raleigh?

Four pages, one per service, each about a different problem that Raleigh businesses actually bring us rather than a restatement of this one.

How does remote delivery work for a Raleigh business?

We have no office in Raleigh and no plans to open one. Work is delivered from our studio in Rajkot, through a shared board you can open at any time rather than a weekly status call. Everything agreed is written down the same day, because a decision nobody can find later is the same as one nobody made.

Sales tax here

Wake County adds its own rate to the North Carolina state rate, and research institutions frequently buy exempt. A Raleigh store therefore needs both a rate that follows the address and a way to accept and store an exemption certificate against the account.

Where your obligations actually begin is a question for a tax adviser. We build the store to collect correctly against whatever answer you get.

Which Raleigh sectors do we build for?

The Raleigh economy produces most of the businesses below, and their requirements we have met before. A sector missing from this list is a scoping conversation, not a refusal.

  • Laboratory reagent and consumable suppliers

  • Biotechnology businesses selling to research institutions

  • Pharmaceutical distributors handling dated stock

Raleigh questions we are asked

Five questions specific to working with us from Raleigh, including the one every remote agency should answer first and most do not: whether we are actually there.

Do you have an office in Raleigh?

No. The studio is in Rajkot, India, and Raleigh clients work with us remotely. We hold no North Carolina address and this page does not suggest one. Institutional buyers ask this question formally, and a plain answer here saves a conversation later on.

Why does lot-level stock matter?

Because a researcher repeating an experiment may need the same lot they used before, and anybody running a protocol needs enough shelf life left to finish it. A single stock number cannot answer either question, so the store ends up sending email to your warehouse instead.

Can customers see remaining shelf life before buying?

Yes, and for dated goods they should. Publishing a guaranteed minimum on arrival is more useful than an exact date, because it survives the days a parcel spends in transit. It also lets you sell shorter-dated stock honestly at a lower price rather than quietly.

How do certificates of analysis reach the buyer?

Attached to the lot and issued with the shipment, so the document matches what was actually sent rather than the current revision. Institutions audit this, and a supplier who can produce the right certificate for a two-year-old order is a supplier they keep using.

Can institutions buy tax-exempt?

Where they hold a valid exemption, yes, and the store should store the certificate against the account rather than asking for it every time. Whether a given customer qualifies is a matter for your finance team and their advisers; the store just needs to record the decision.
