UI/UX design for Cypriot ecommerce
Nobody can pick a product up, so the images are the product. Most stores treat the gallery as a place to put whatever the supplier sent, which leaves the customer guessing at the things they would have checked in a shop. We design store interfaces for Cypriot businesses remotely.
What changes about UI/UX Design in Cyprus?
A gallery that works answers questions rather than displaying photographs. What is it made of, how big is it against something familiar, what does the part you will actually touch look like up close, and what is in the box. That implies a sequence rather than a set: the establishing shot, the scale reference, the detail, the contents. Zoom matters because it is the substitute for picking something up, and a zoom that opens a slightly larger version of the same low resolution file is worse than none, since the customer has now been told there is nothing more to see. On a phone the gallery is most of the screen, so it needs to be swipeable with a visible indication of how many images there are, and it must not trap a scroll that was meant for the page. The most valuable image is usually the one nobody has taken, which is the product beside an everyday object.
What a UI/UX Design project includes
Three things, and they do not change by country. What changes is the section above, which is the part worth reading before anybody agrees a scope for Cyprus.
- UX audit against a published checklist
- Redesign of the highest-revenue templates
- Design system and tokens, where they earn their cost
Cities we cover in Cyprus
4 cities, each with its own page describing what commerce looks like there — what sells, who buys it and what makes selling there different — rather than repeating this one. All four services are delivered in every one of them, and we hold no office in any.
The rest of what we build in Cyprus
Replatforming rarely arrives on its own. The interface decides whether the new store converts, and the automation decides how much manual work it leaves behind, so the other services in this market are usually the next question rather than a later one.
UI/UX Design questions from Cyprus
Three questions specific to UI/UX Design in Cyprus. The general ones — how we work, what it costs, who owns the code — are answered on the service page, and the ones about selling into this market generally are on the Europe page above.
Do you have an office in Cyprus?
No. We are in Rajkot, India, and Cypriot clients are served remotely. There is no Cypriot address behind this page and there is no office you could visit. It is stated at the very top because that is precisely where a page carrying a country in its heading usually implies something that is not true.
Which image is most often missing?
The one showing scale. Customers routinely misjudge size from a photograph on a white background, and a shot beside an ordinary object answers a question that otherwise arrives as a message, or worse, as a return that could have been avoided for the cost of one photograph.
Is zoom worth implementing?
Only with images good enough to reward it. Zoom that opens a marginally larger version of the same low resolution file is worse than no zoom, because the customer has now been shown that there is nothing more to see and has stopped looking for the detail they wanted.
