UI/UX design for Polish ecommerce

A large share of Polish shoppers arrive from a comparison engine, already knowing the price and going straight to a product page. They never see the home page, and the page they land on has to do everything a store would normally spread across a visit. We design store interfaces for Polish businesses remotely.

What changes about UI/UX Design in Poland?

A visitor who arrives from a comparison engine has done the price research and is deciding whether to trust you with it, which reorders what the product page needs. Delivery cost and time matter immediately, because the price they compared did not include them and a surprise here sends them back to the list. Returns need a sentence, not a link. Some evidence that the business is real — a telephone number, an address, reviews that read like people — does more work on this page than anywhere else on the site, because the visitor has no accumulated impression of you to draw on. What does not help is a page designed on the assumption that somebody browsed their way there. Cross-sells above the fold, a carousel of unrelated products, or an interstitial offering a discount for an email address all delay the one question the visitor came to answer. The measurable version is simple: look at the entry pages in your analytics, then look at what those pages actually lead with.

What a UI/UX Design project includes

Three things, and they do not change by country. What changes is the section above, which is the part worth reading before anybody agrees a scope for Poland.

  1. UX audit against a published checklist
  2. Redesign of the highest-revenue templates
  3. Design system and tokens, where they earn their cost

Cities we cover in Poland

12 cities, each with its own page describing what commerce looks like there — what sells, who buys it and what makes selling there different — rather than repeating this one. All four services are delivered in every one of them, and we hold no office in any.

The rest of what we build in Poland

Replatforming rarely arrives on its own. The interface decides whether the new store converts, and the automation decides how much manual work it leaves behind, so the other services in this market are usually the next question rather than a later one.

UI/UX Design questions from Poland

Three questions specific to UI/UX Design in Poland. The general ones — how we work, what it costs, who owns the code — are answered on the service page, and the ones about selling into this market generally are on the Europe page above.

Do you have an office in Poland?

No. We are in Rajkot, India, and Polish clients are served remotely. There is no Polish address behind this page and no office you could visit. It is stated at the top because that is precisely where a page naming a country usually implies something it should not.

What should a landing product page lead with?

Delivery cost and time, then returns in a sentence rather than a link. A visitor who compared on price did not compare on delivery, and finding it late sends them back to the comparison list with a worse impression than they arrived with.

Do trust signals really matter that much here?

More than on any other page, because the visitor has no impression of you to draw on. A telephone number, a real address and reviews that read like people were written by people do more work on an entry page than any amount of design polish.
