The first question is whether the restricted range should be invisible or visible but unbuyable.
Invisible protects pricing and means nobody discovers it exists, which is a real cost when the range is a reason to open an account. Visible without prices is usually the better trade: the products can be found, indexed and linked, and the price appears once somebody is approved. The second question is what happens to a shared link, because a customer will send one to a colleague and the page has to explain the situation rather than returning an error that reads as a broken site. Then there is the part that leaks. Restricted prices routinely escape through search results, feeds, sitemaps and the shop's own related-products block, none of which respect an account rule unless somebody made them. Testing this properly means signing out entirely and looking, rather than assuming the setting covers everything it appears to cover.

Should restricted products be invisible?
Usually not. Hiding them entirely means nobody discovers a range that is often the reason to open an account. Visible without prices, with a clear route to apply, keeps the products findable and linkable while protecting the only part that actually needed protecting.
What happens when somebody shares a link?
It has to explain itself. A colleague following a shared product link should see the product and a note about how to get access, not an error page, which reads as a broken site and loses a warm introduction that a customer made on your behalf.
Where do restricted prices usually leak?
Search results, product feeds, sitemaps and the related-products block. None of those respects an account rule unless somebody deliberately made it, and the only reliable test is signing out completely and looking, rather than trusting that one setting covered every surface.
