Shopify development in Houston
Selling anything that has to fit something else turns a product page into a compatibility claim. The customer is asking whether this works with what they already own, and the answer your store gives is a commitment you will be held to when a part arrives and does not fit.

Will it fit, and who is responsible if it does not
Compatibility is a commercial exposure before it is a data problem.
A store that says a part fits a machine has made a statement the customer relies on, and the returns, the carriage and the goodwill all follow from whether it was right. That argues for being explicit about the basis: fits these models between these years, according to the manufacturer's own data, with the caveats the manufacturer states rather than the confident summary. Where the fit depends on something the customer must check — a serial range, a variant, a measurement — the page has to ask them to check it rather than assume, and that request is worth more than any amount of reassurance. The decision that follows is about returns. A part ordered against your compatibility claim and returned because it did not fit is your cost, not the customer's, and saying so plainly is both fair and a competitive position. Businesses that leave it ambiguous end up paying anyway, having first had the argument.
We have no office in Houston. Our studio is in Rajkot, India, and every project here is delivered remotely — if a supplier who can attend your premises matters to you, that is a fair requirement and we do not meet it.

Shopify development questions from Houston
Three questions about the subject above. How we work, what it costs and who owns the code are answered on the service page.
Who pays when a part does not fit?
If the customer relied on your compatibility statement, you do, and saying so plainly is both fair and a strong position against competitors who leave it vague. Businesses that argue about this usually pay in the end, having spent the goodwill first and kept none of the money.
How specific should a fitment claim be?
As specific as the source you took it from. Fits these models between these years, according to the manufacturer, with their caveats intact. A confident one-line summary that drops the conditions is where the expensive cases come from, and it saves nobody any reading.
What if fit depends on something we cannot see?
Ask the customer to check it, plainly, on the page. A serial range or a measurement they need to confirm is not a weakness in the listing; it is the difference between a claim you can stand behind and one that is guessing on the customer's behalf about their own equipment.
